Swallowed By The Waves

(H&M top & belt / ZARA pants / Forever 21 necklace / Longchamp tote / Sam Edelman pumps)

The easiest way to "mix prints" in an outfit without looking like a train wreck is to keep them as far away from each other as possible. At least that's how I did it in this look: stripes as top, leopard as footwear. But now that I think about it, leopard print might look good layered with stripes. I am going to try that out in my future pairings. Yay for outfit ideas! :)

Have you entered my giveaway yet? TWO DAYS LEFT! :)

I am still on the hunt for a pair of pants like that! I can't seem to find a flattering pair. Love yours, though!

Fun nails, too!

At first glance I thought this was a simple, classic (and chic!) outfit... then I zoom in all the fantastic details and there is so much going on here! From the stripes to the leopard to the bright orange belt to those KILLER nails! Loving it all, lady!

Oh Kristy, you always manage to look so classy, HOW?! Haha, I agree with your print mixing philosophy, but leopard and stripes is probably one of my favourite combinations. Can't wait to see your next post ;)

P.S. Those wedges kill me every time <3

Kristy! Stripes on Leopard totally look amazing! Look at my How to Mix Prints category, and you'll see (http://wp.me/W5H5) that I did a leopard maxi skirt with a nautical striped tank. It's easy! Just keep the stripes wide or nautical as you did here and you're good to go. Keep your accessories minimal and neutral. (I posted it on 8/16).
