I have derpy bangs. Like, MAAAAAH-JOR DERPY. When I was in Vancouver last summer, I went to this Japanese dollar store, called Daiso (God, I love this place), and bought a bunch of vanity/beauty goodies. One of them being a pair of hair trimming scissors for a buck. WHAT A STEAL.
In the past, I DIY-ed my bangs with a pair of regular scissors and it worked just fine. So, I was excited to use the trimming scissors for the first time that I got (a little) carried away. They turned out too short to be side-swept bangs, but too long to be blunt bangs. Moral of the story? Just use regular scissors or go get them trimmed at a budget hair salon ;)
xx toodles.

I love Daiso, I always spend wayyy too much money there for it being a $2 store! I don't think your bangs look that short but the good thing about bangs is that they seem to grow fairly quickly :D

I've done that often before, LOL. I just pin my bangs back until they grow out enough.. SO MUCH EMBARRASS!

I hope Daiso comes to Toronto one day. I discovered it when I visited Japan and purchased one of my favourite belts from there.
Great outfit! I really like the strips and green button down combo :)

You look so chic and so cool : ) And I love that you're wearing a poppy. Are those Uggs comfy? I need to get some new winter boots. Are they easy to stick your pants into?
Love the layering in this outfit...and those boots are so cute...I can't believe they're UGGs!

I think Khatu posted a very similar look on her blog that was inspired by Olivia Palermo awhile back.
I haven't been keeping up with O P.mo, but every time I look at an outfit of yours, I think, I could see Olivia in that.
This is no exception.
GOD, I love that Rick Owens-esque jacket! i love that!
I don't condone the uggs, but LOL, they actually look awesome and warm. Don't tell anybody I ever said that! EVER! :P
