Lovers By Inverted Commas

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Oh yeah, I'm back to wearing knee-high boots because spring has been such a tease! Last weekend, Chris and I headed downtown to check out a couple of designer pop-up shops. I swear that guy is way more of a shopaholic than I am. I almost bought a winter parka (like I didn't already have enough!) but I managed to exercise some self control. He, on the other hand, went out of control and got a waffle-knit cardigan (like he didn't already have enough, hahaha!) :D

(Uniqlo parka / Forever 21 sweater (get it here) & necklace / Joe Fresh collared shirt (underneath) / Club Monaco skirt / (c/o) Inverted Commas "Lovers" tote / ALDO boots)

I'm grateful that blogging has allowed me to expand my network & make friends with people from different parts of the world. One of my favorite Chictopians is the uber-stylish Francesco from Italy. Aside from his inept fashion sense, he's also a great artist. Through his new tote bag business, INVERTED COMMAS, he manages to marry his watercolor illustrations with his love for fashion. The result is a bunch of one-of-a kind tote bags that can be found on his Etsy shop. The one I have is called Lovers and I can't think of a better name for it :) Made of organic cotton, this tote bag is simple yet eye-catching, durable yet lightweight. Thanks Francesco for this lovely gift! :)

Happy Easter, everyone!!

xx toodles.

Love how you've done your nails in this post - so fun!
And now your title has me humming "Lovers in a Dangerous Time" - dang it! ;)

Love the pastel french nails. Also I've been such a big admirer of Francesco's blog and totes. They are so perfect your style.
