I'm Under The Influence Of Love

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

When I first cut my hair to shoulder-length, I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to pull it up into a decent pony tail (not like this), let alone a ballerina bun. Now I really have to thank my hairstylist for giving me a hairstyle that I could still turn into an updo or two ;)

(c/o Free People dress (get it here) / H&M skirt (underneath) / Michael by Michael Kors "Bennet" tote (get it here) / c/o Quoise ring (get yours here) / MRKT sandals (get them here))

Here I'm wearing another dress that the Free People team kindly sent me. It's different than what I would normally wear since I'm not so much of a boho girl. But hey, there's always a first time for everything, right? ;) The gorgeous embroidery all over the dress is what first caught my attention (I also love the asymmetrical bell-sleeves!). It's another one of those no fuss shift dresses that you could just wear on its own, just like I did! :)

Your bun looks so cute, Kristy! And I love the dress... may not be your usual style but I think it looks great on you.

Kristy, I totes love this dress / style on you. And yes, you're right, totally different from your usual aesthetic, but I love it none the less. In my early twenties (LOL, I sound like a true blue 30 year old, heehehe), I was obsessed with the Free People line/brand. I still love them to date. There's just something about the boho look that is chic and effortless. :)

Happy Thursday-ing!

Oh I absolutely love your dress. I also hated having medium length hair because of the same reason. In fact, my hair is a little longer but my baby hairs still fall down haha.

I love you with the shoulder length hair Kristy! It really suits you and I'm so happy (and a little jealous) that you can still put your hair up! It takes a million bobby pins and my pony tail is pathetically small haha. This look is so summery and boho! I love it! :)

Love your dress! You look so adorable Kristy. Also I know what you mean about having medium length hair. Lately though, I've been really into sock buns! They really are great for shorter hair! It adds a lot of volume.

I've never really been a fan of the bell sleeve, but it looks gorgeous on you, Kristy!
