It Doesn't Disappear When We're Apart

(Forever 21 jacket / Joe Fresh sweater / H&M skirt & necklace / Oasap.com satchel (get it here) / Jeffrey Campbell wedges)

I've been feeling under the weather for the past 2 weeks. It comes and goes, which is quite annoying. I tried to cover up my intense dark circles by piling on different concealers, but they just couldn't do the job :( I recently rekindled my love with this turquoise chandelier necklace that I got from H&M last summer. It's a great piece to (somewhat) transform my outfits into spring & summer looks, though as you can see, I still can't say goodbye to my black accessories. I'm a Fall girl at heart :)

Man-ochroma.Chic ~ part 4

(Urban Outfitters scarf / Oliver Spencer jacket / Joe Fresh sweater (underneath) / ZARA cord pants / Bed Stü boots)

It's been awhile since I featured Chris on my blog, so here he is again!
Don't ask me why he looks pissed in the last photo.
(Though I suspect it's his attempt to do the "model stare", hahaha!)

Anyway, my Foxy Originals giveaway ended last Friday and the winner (as chosen by random.org) is...

Congrats, Sunny :) Keep an eye on your inbox for an email from me!

You Can Have The Love You Need To Live

(H&M blazer, top, pants (all old) / Cole Haan purse (old) / Aerosoles heels via Winners (get yours here!))

This is my official Spring outfit! Last Wednesday, the temperature reached 25ºC and I finally got to bust out my new spring shoes that I purchased from Winners (similar to Marshall's in the US). When I think of Aerosoles, I am always reminded of the old lady shoes (comfortable... but not the best-looking shoes). So when I saw this patent leather pseudo peep-toe heels, I was pleasantly surprised! How could you not love the white polkadot trims & cute little bows? Plus, the color really helps elongate my legs ;)

I hope everybody had a great weekend! :)

(H&M top & sequined collar / Old Navy skirt / (c/o) Quoise ring (get it here) / Vintage belt / Oasap.com purse (get it here) / ALDO shoes)

I mentioned in this post that I managed to get all the items I wanted from the Marni x H&M collection. Unfortunately (but fortunately for my credit card!), I returned most of them a few days ago, including the polkadot coat & faux patent leather tote bag :( So I'm left with this infamous sequined collar. THAT'S IT. I told myself that if I could only get one item from the collection, this collar would be it. I wore this to work the other day and the most popular comment I received was "Your collar is not attached to your shirt!". Ahhh colleagues... :)

ps. LAST DAY to enter my giveaway. It's now or never! :)

I'm Standing Here Outside Your Door

I've put these UGG boots back into their box and they will remain in there until next winter. How's the weather where you are right now? :)

The Butter To My Nails

Just when I thought of buying new nail polishes for spring and summer, Michelle from NailPolishCanada.com contacted me if I would like to try on and review a couple of shades from Butter London's newest collection. Talk about the right timing! ;) You can check the entire collection here. I chose Trout Pout and Slapper because they are different from what I would normally wear.

Running Away Into The Abyss

Just when I thought Spring was near, the temperature dropped... again.
Bring back the good ol' wool coat!

It's My Hope, It's My Fear

(ZARA trench coat / Joe Fresh sweater / H&M dress (worn as skirt) & belt / The Sak purse / Amrita Singh necklace / Luxury Rebel booties)

Last Wednesday, I was lucky enough to be able to attend the Marni x H&M pre-shop event in Toronto, thanks to my sweet blogger friend, Janice, who took me as her +1 :) It wasn't as chaotic as the opening day, but it was still pretty crazy. Once the door was opened, everybody sprinted (in their high heels!) into the store. The accessories were gone within the first few minutes! However, I was a little surprised that despite all the craziness, people were acting pretty civil. There were a lot of "excuse mes" and "sorrys", no pepper spray or cat fights! :)

Janice & I came in prepared with a list of items we wanted from the collection.

I can proudly say that we left the store with everything we wanted, though I'm still deciding whether or not I should keep everything. To see more pictures of the night, you can check out Janice's post here! :)

Giveaway: Are You Feeling Foxy?

Foxy Originals, a Toronto based online jewelry boutique, was founded in 2003 by a couple of business-savvy girlfriends with a passion for creating unique yet affordable jewelries. This particular brand is quite special for several reasons. One, all of their jewelry pieces are made in Canada. Two, they have a recycling program that allows people to send their well-loved Foxy pieces back to FO to recycle and receive a 15% coupon code towards their next purchase. And three, they've acquired quite a number of celebrity fans, such as Lauren Conrad, Nelly Furtado, and Sienna Miller.

So, are you ready for another awesome giveaway? :)

You Can't Even Look At Me In The Eyes

(Cheap Monday sweater (get it here) / Old Navy shirt / Seven7 jeans / ALDO boots / Longchamp tote bag / Vintage belt / Foxy Originals bracelet & ring (c/o) / Forever 21 necklace)

It's been awhile since I put my hair up in a pony tail or a hair bun. Luckily, this year's winter hasn't been that frigid, so I've been able to play around with my tresses whenever I'm having a bad hair day. I'm actually thinking of getting a haircut, like, a shoulder-length bob a la Nicole Richie circa 2006 (like this). What do you guys think? :)

Never Is An Awfully Long Time

Anna from UniQueen, a Korean fashion boutique based in Toronto, contacted me for a chance to review one of the pieces from their Spring collection. It took me awhile to choose a piece, not only because they offer a great selection of drool-worthy clothing, but also because most of their items are one-size only. Now, if I was 20 lbs. lighter and 2 sizes smaller, I would not have a problem with that. Unfortunately, I'm not :( Thankfully, Anna was patient enough to wait until I was able to find something that I liked and knew would fit my non-petite frame.
