Giveaway Time!

It's been awhile since I held a giveaway on my blog, so when I saw this necklace at J.Crew during my New York trip, I thought it'd be a lovely giveaway piece! :) I like simple giveaway rules, so here they are:

  1. Follow me on Google Connect/Bloglovin/Facebook/Twitter/Instagram (1 entry for each social media platform).
  2. I've been looking for new blogs to read, so if you can share your favourite blog(s), that'd be great! ;) (1 entry)

That's it! This giveaway is open internationally until March 15, 11:59pm EST. Don't forget to leave your valid email address in the comment box. Say yes to the necklace? ;)

xx toodles.

ps. This is not a sponsored giveaway :)

New York Minutes

My time in New York went by soooo fast. I left work on Friday at noon to catch my (supposedly) 3pm flight, but of course, Air Canada decided to delay the flight for an hour, so I didn't get to the hotel until 7pm :( Friday was a lost cause, but I tried to make the best out of the next two days. My mom and I spent our Saturday in Manhattan and (almost) the entire Sunday at Woodbury Premium Outlet (woot!). Here are some photos from trip. If you follow me on Instagram, you've seen some of them ;)

We Got Our Feet On The Ground

Guess who's heading down to the Big Apple for the long weekend & completely missing #NYFW?
(I just had to add the hashtag because that's what everybody's been doing this week, lol!)

Anyway... the answer to that rhetorical question is of course ME ME ME! :)

I Think I'm Letting Go

(ZARA coat, purse, scarf / Old Navy "Rock Star" jeans (the fit is awesome, get them here!) / ALDO boots (get them here) / Uniqlo earmuffs)

I received a few compliments on the "cape" I wore in this post (thank you!!). I hate to be the bearer of (sorta) bad news but it's not a cape, it's an A-line coat that I wore unbuttoned because I wanted to show you the sweater ;) So... here's the coat as a coat! Anyway, my apology for the boring outfit, you guys. I call it the typical east coast look --> dark and dull. But I swear I'm a fun person to be around with... just not when I'm hungry because I can get very cranky ;)

The Sun Sets On The Avenue

I had quite a bit of time over the weekend, so I decided to curl ma' huuurrr ;) I just recently realized that I REALLY miss my long hair. I'm at the "growing out" stage right now, so I've been feeling a little frustrated with my hair and WHAT TO DO WITH IT?!?

Ba-Ba-Black Sheep

(Old Navy sweater / Tommy Hilfiger shirt / Joe Fresh pants / ALDO boots / Deux Lux bag / H&M beanie / Forever 21 necklace / Michael Kors watch (get  it here))

Old Navy has been stepping up their game lately! I've been getting a lot of stuff from them and I've yet to be disappointed. Lets see... cute animal-print sweaters? CHECK (seen here and here). Amazing "Rockstar" skinny jeans? CHECK CHECK. Other great bits and pieces that look like they belong in a J. Crew catalog but for a fraction of J. Crew's price? TRIPLE CHECK! ;) What's your affordable go-to store?

xx toodles.
